Camsense canceled my payments – affiliate network or scammer

February 9th, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

I my acount say this:

Cancelled affiliate payment – Min. required not met.

one person from Camsense (Jonathan Jenkins) say:

For the last 60 days you delivered 1 new spender to CC Network sites. Unfortunately this means that currently your account doesn’t meet CamSense requirements

but in the Terms and Conditions, art.(2.1)  from Camsese say exact this:

An active affiliate (“Active Affiliate”) of CamSense, the administrator of the affiliate programs for the CCNetwork of sites, for this purpose is:

  • One whose qualified spenders do not, in the aggregate, exceed chargebacks of 1 ½ % over a one (1) month period.
  • One who has complied with the CamSense Customer Identification requirements set forth herein within thirty (30) days after becoming an affiliate or within sixty (60) days from a request by CC Network for such compliance for existing affiliates.
  • One who delivers at minimum five (5) qualified spenders per month to a CC Network site,

The text say clear : qualified spenders per month NOT new qualified spenders per month and that can be interpreted : qualified spenders per month can be even old spenders, who have returned to spend some money.

This is a trick for me, and Camsense can be another affiliate network scammer.

in art: 2.2 from Camsense say:

CamSense has the option to discontinue the payouts for your referred visitors who have become qualified spenders on a CC Network site upon your failure to meet the criteria for an Active Affiliate over a two (2) month period

where, the option is not a obligation, and not a general rule … only if they wish !!!

    Hi all,

Camsense has never missed a payment for me. Been making around $8,000 per month. There is nothing wrong with the new policy. Those who are complaining are people who aren´t sending any new spenders…you can´t just sit around waiting on money from old spenders…if you have good targeted traffic, then it´s no problem getting 5 spenders per month. It´s so easy getting them because Camsense have the best livecams in the industry and there are always interested spenders. If you have targeted traffic and need some advice on how to make it work for you, feel free to contact me at martin7454@gmail.com
. I can guarantee you will never be cancelled from the program for inactivity.

    Thanks!
    Anna

They paused my account because i did not reached the limit, plus they keep almost 1000 usd in my account locked and they refuse to send them to me even if this are comissions during the period when my account was active, before the 2 months period.

Camsense just changed rules in the middle of the game. They still havent cancelled my payments yet because it appears I have reached those goals, but I removed all my links to camsense sites because I know sooner or later I will not reach the goals and will loose all my affiliates I worked so hard to get for the last 9 years. Probably will be in the next payment cycle.

CAMSENSE = SCAM – I hope they loose all the customers like i will loose my affiliates

@robert , @GARY MCDONALD the best solution for camsense cam affiliate scheme is remove all banners and links as we have done so.

And every day many like me will do the same, that will remove the banners and links.

And SPREAD the words: CAMSENSE AFFILIATE SCAM

i AM UP FOR A LAW SUIT HERE

I have been affiliate since 2004 and it just makes no sense. They say some affiliates are working harder than others! Well that is why they get bigger cheques. I write them trying to offer some common sense in business but they do not have a clue. If anyone on the planet had an affiliate program would you rather 50 good hard working affiliates making you 20 million a year or 300 affiliates making you 40 million. It makes no sense at all and in the next 3 to 5 years we will see camcontacts lose profits and eventually die off. It is the dumbest marketing decision by any net company I have heard of. They rob the very people that made them viable.

    MY EMAIL TO jONATHON JENKINS

Congratulations Jonathon your new terms have been labeled one of the greatest jokes of marketing on the net. Do you read the forums?

Just do a google search on “CAMSENSE AFFILIATE SCAM”

You guys really dont see this do you?

Anyone on the planet would rather have 400 affiliates making them 40 million a year than 50 good affiliates MAKING THEM 20 million a year.

I am dying to hear from someone with half a brain there. how in the world did you come up with a plan to think profits would increase by scaming affiliates out of commissions. Do you understand there are affiliate forums and now the camsense affiliate program is seen as a scam. You have pissed off the majority of your affiliates and now are seen as a scam which deters other affiliates from joining.

AGAIN HOW DID THIS COME ABOUT IT IS SO STUPID IT IS FUNNY????

I suggest a class action… I’m disgusted of scammers and bloody people that use the web to defraud others…
I have no many time but, please, post this anywhere you can… i’m ready for a class action since now… (500,000.00 of big spenders sent in 10 years isnt a joke)

They change rules during the game. Many webmasters sent to them big spenders after accept lifetime revenues and now CC mantains big spenders and webmasters nothing… they are SCAMMERS.

Ran into the same problem. They changed their T&C’s 1 December 2009. I think that many people worked for their site based on the belief that the clients generated were “Lifetime” clients. I believe that this is how they advertised their affiliate program anyhow, that it was “Lifetime”. Changing the T&Cs wipes out in many cases, years of client build up. Seems like a case for a class action suit…
