  1. Roadrunner – BladeCenter QS22/LS21 Cluster, PowerXCell 8i 3.2 Ghz / Opteron DC 1.8 GHz, Voltaire Infiniband
    Is a unique hybrid design, using 12,960 IBM PowerXCell 8i CPUs combined with 6,480 AMD Opteron dual-core processors. It uses Red Hat Enterprise Linux along with Fedora as its operating systems.
  2. Jaguar – Cray XT5 QC 2.3 GHz
    This system is installed at the DOE’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Jaguar reached 1.059 petaflop/s shortly after its installation in 2008
  3. JUGENE – Blue Gene/P Solution
    Is installed at the Forschungszentrum Juelich (FZJ) in Germany and it achieved 825.5 teraflop/s (trillion floating point operations per second) on the Linpack benchmark
  4. Pleiades – SGI Altix ICE 8200EX, Xeon QC 3.0/2.66 GHz
  5. BlueGene/L – eServer Blue Gene Solution
  6. Kraken XT5 – Cray XT5 QC 2.3 GHz
  7. Blue Gene/P Solution

  10. JUROPA – NovaScale R422-E2/Sun Blade 6048, Intel Xeon X5570, 2.93 GHz, QDR Infiniband/ ParaStation/ ParTec-MPI

    World Community Grid is also considered to be a supercomputer.
