Linux – Disabling PHP Safe Mode for a specific folder

using .htaccess file:

  1. create the .htaccess file
  2. the content of the .htaccess file should be:
    php_value safe_mode "1"

using php.ini file

  1. upload to specific folder the php.ini file
  2. in php.ini enter this command
    safe_mode = Off

for globall efect, search php.ini in /etc/ folder and chnage safe_mode = On with safe_mode = Off !

NOTE: Php Safe Mode was removed in PHP 6.0.0. (features.safe-mode)
