If you have new Adobe Flash Player version 10 , wordpress can’t upload any media with flash uploader.

Resolve:
In upload window you have this line:

You are using the Flash uploader. Problems? Try the Browser uploader instead.
(only for wordpress Version 2.6.3 or higher version)

  1. Click on “Browser uploader
  2. Click BROWSE [button]
  3. Click Upload [button]
  4. … and problem is solved. You can upload any files/media !!!

I’ve tried both the flash and browser uploader, works fine, but I only got a blank preview. When I add it to post and it is also blank.

I’ve used FTP to check if the file have been uploaded, but its not.

    Been scratching my head!

install wordpress Version 2.6.5, the last version and use “browser uploader” , not flash uploader (view top image)

I am not a techie. The media uploader was working in Internet explorer until a couple of days ago. I think I installed Adobe flash 10. I just went to my uploading area and do not have the prompt that allows to to use the Browser uploader. I am really lost. Any suggestions? I have Adobe Flash player 10 activex installed as well as the Adobe Flash plug in. Thanks much.
