A series of coordinated bomb & gun attacks on Wednesday night in Mumbai, India’s financial capital, have claimed dozens of lives & sown confusion as gunmen were reported holding foreigners hostage at hotels. Local news organizations reported at least 80 people were killed and 250 injured in the attacks, which occurred in seven locations including two luxury hotels & one of the city’s main railway stations. Two Kiwis in amongst Mumbai attacks

As fear grips Mumbai after a number of terror attacks across the city, two New Zealanders are barricading themselves in their hotel room. Details are scarce, but David and Vinka Clemmett are said to be in amongst the panic stricken scenes, in which around 90 people have been reported dead so far, with many hundred reported injured.
The couple are staying in the five star Oberoi Hotel, where there are reports of gunfire. (tvnz.co.nz)

Nearly 80 Confirmed Dead in Mumbai Siege

India’s financial capital, Mumbai, is under siege, as heavily armed attackers have targeted numerous locations throughout the city in an unprecedented, ongoing assault.
