Enable ICMP for Windows Firewall in Windows XP SP2
How to enable ICMP in windows firewall ?
Step 1:
Open Windows Firewall:
- Start Control Panel
- Open Security Center
- and Select Windows Firewall
Sptep 2 enable ICMP:
- Select the Advanced tab and click Settings… under ICMP
- Check all the checkboxes to enable ICMP & click OK!
- Close the Windows Firewall and Close Windows Security Center.
Job DONE … ICMP is enabled through Windows Firewall
