In my case, Task Manager, Registry, & Folder Options are disabled. wscript.exe & auto.vbs runs in the background whenever i check it using msconfig. I've had this freaking problem 3-4 times already. I have updated AV & AS softwares but still i get infected. So frustrating.

I've done a lot of research tried a lot of so-called solutions but it all ends up to reformatting my PC as a solution. I can't afford to reformat my PC every time it gets infected.

Just want the experts out there to share their information. What kind of virus/trojan/worm/spyware is this? What's the real solution?

I tried that:- do not do this.
I even ran Delphi and adjusted the Registry only to note the worm reinstalled its settings, so I still could not access my task manger with the administrator message still coming up and it started attacking *.exe files that were running at the time and killing windows.
I'm looking for third party programs that do the same as task manager.
I advise not to touch the registry but seek a windows task manager substitute!!!!!!!!!

The windows task manager needs a rewrite that the registry setting only aplys to non administrator accounts.
