Made in Alabama, the 2009 Mercedes-Benz, cleanest diesel automobiles, ML320, GL320 & R320 will be available with the same 3.0-litre V6 diesel that has powered the E320 Bluetec sedan for the last two years. The Green Engine it generates 210 hp at 3,400 rpm and 400 lb. ft. of torque between 1,600 – 2,400 rpm.

The ML 320 has been given the most extensive facelift, inside & out. At the outside, the ML 320 gets:

• new headlamps & wheels,
• a new larger grille,
• bigger rearview mirrors
• a newly designed rear bumper.

On the inside :

• a new steering wheel with paddle shifters,
• optional two-tone leather upholstery,
• a new rear seat entertainment system with screens in the front seat headrests
• a 610-watt harman/kardon LOGIC 7 sound system with 12 speakers.

Coupled to a 7-speed automatic transmission, the Bluetec is smooth & extremely powerful, with the kind of torque only a diesel engine can generate. Mercedes-Benz claims 0-100 km/h acceleration in 8.6 seconds.
