mrt.exe - how to remove !
mrt.exe is not a Windows core file.
If mrt.exe is located in a subfolder of “C:\Program Files” then the security rating is 
28% dangerous. File size is:
- 427360 bytes,
- 1056768 bytes.
- 905216 bytes (50% of all occurrence),
The application can be removed using the control panel Add\Remove programs applet. The process is loaded during the Windows boot process ; see Registry key:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run,
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run,
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders.
mrt.exe is able to:
- record inputs,
- monitor applications,
- manipulate other programs.
