Bought one on Woot and love it. It DOES come with a stylus, it’s tucked into the back, look by the power connector. Since this is a WinCE device I was able to sync and access the Windows file system and was able to add a button to the “Media” menu called “Explorer”. When I click it I get the start menu and can access the files much like any WinCE device! Look for a file called IGOPATH.TXT and you should be able to figure out how to add a button.
I bought TWO! Uses Win CE NET 4.2 core, plays MP3’s videos (box says AVI’s but also plays ASF’s) by just putting a SD card in with media on it. It comes with a 1 GIG SD card which holds the map and software. The voice is clear with adequate volume, or use the headphone jack into your cars aux in for stereo playback and directions. Lots of bells and whistles built in like 3D mapping, day/night mode, fly-over, itinerary, tracking, pinning, and much more. Great touch-screen. Comes with cig adapter, mounting hardware, USB cable, CD with additional info not in manual and map back-up utility, but no stylus included. Use anything with a nice rounded tip that’s not sharp or writes. I’m hoping somebody will post how to get the SHOW/HIDE choices in the POI setup screen to carry over and if anybody figures out any easter eggs, tweaks or hacks. Great unit! Love it. Great for in-car entertainment and finding anything/place. NOTE: Does not call out the street names, but the street name is displayed prominently at the top of the screen.
