The successor to Sony’s Vaio 505 is the X505, the X is for extreme, you know, like snow boarding, although the jury is still out on how many top executives try to catch some “Sweet Air” at the moments. I’m sure they don’t have this razor thin, uber-cool notebook with them when they do. With only 9.7mm thick this is a seriously flat notebook, and weighing in at a paltry 825 grams, it’s not going to put the shoulder out when carrying it around the world.
